- 1Heat the broiler with a rack 6 inches from the heat
- 2Boil the potatoes in water 12–15 minutes, until tender, then drain and mash with the milk and half the salt
- 3Heat the oil in an oven-safe skillet and cook the turkey until it reaches 165°F
- 4Stir in the vegetables, broth, tomato paste, thyme, and remaining salt and simmer 6 minutes
